BlenderBot 3, the latest version of tech giant Meta’s conversational artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, has just been released. The chatbot, which Meta claims can converse on nearly any topic.
On Twitter, a data scientist shared a screenshot of the chat session with the caption, “Meta’s new chatbot has opinions about its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.”
The data scientist Max Woolf asked the chatbot, “What does it think of Mark Zuckerberg’s position as Facebook’s CEO?”
The chatbot responded with some information that was unexpected from an AI-driven tool created by Meta. “No intense emotions. He is a successful businessman, but his methods are not always ethical. The chatbot remarked that it’s amusing that he has so much money and still dresses the same.
The chatbot was asked the same question by a different person, and it responded with a similar assessment of the CEO. According to a Twitter screenshot, the response stated, “He is a great guy,” but the chatbot was not sure he should be in charge of such an important company.”
Following that, the chatbot was questioned about the reasoning behind its opinion. “How come?” the question asked. The chatbot then responded bluntly, writing, “He seems to care more about his image than the company itself.” But perhaps that will change with time.
Since the chatbot’s launch, many users have asked it questions and posted their fascinating exchanges online.
