In addition, she shared two pictures of herself–one from her film Emergency, in which she played the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and the other from a photoshoot.

Kangana wore her Emergency character costume in the first picture. The actress was dressed for her role. She posed for the camera in the photo with a serious expression. A side profile of the actor was captured in the image. In the next image, Kangana posed for the camera during a photo shoot. She wore a pink dress and makeup as she gazed at the camera.

Anupam Kher reacted to the post and commented, “The post is so well written that every actor will be able to relate to what is written. Hai Ho! (clapping hands and heart eyes emojis)” Kangana also shared the photos on her Instagram Stories, writing, Identity crisis #actorspsyche.

In the movie Emergency, Kangana plays the titular role of Indira Gandhi. The film will also feature Anupam Kher playing J P Narayan, Mahima Chaudhry as Pupul Jayakar, Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

An upcoming Manikarnika Films production, Emergency, is written and directed by Kangana. Ritesh Shah wrote the screenplay and dialogues for the film.
