Eliza Fletcher, a kindergarten teacher in the US state of Tennessee, was taken while she was jogging, and police began looking for her. Eyewitnesses say that a 34-year-old woman was pushed into a car against her will.
Fletcher is reported to be a white woman with green eyes and blonde hair. She is about 137 pounds and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall. She had her hair up and wore a headband that went with her outfit. She was wearing a pink sports bra and purple running shorts.
Eliza’s grandfather owns a business that sells hardware. Experts say the business makes the man about $3 billion a year.
Investigators who started looking think that a man came up to Eliza while she was jogging, started talking to her, and then pushed her into a jeep and drove off with her.
Fletcher’s mobile phone and water bottle were found near a building at the University of Memphis, where the jogging route went.
One of the theories being investigated is that the kidnapping was done for money, but so far, the attackers have not only not asked for money, but they haven’t even shown themselves. Even though the FBI said, they found the car Elise was taken in and arrested one person, the victim herself was never found.
Eliza’s family put up a message offering a reward of $50,000 to anyone who could tell them where she was.
